Verified versus unverified statute text
Molao shows the exact text only for statute sections it has verified. For everything else it links to the official source, because it will not display wording it cannot vouch for.
When a judgment or an answer cites a statute, you will sometimes see the section text inline and sometimes only a link to the official source. That difference is intentional.
Verified sections
For the 25 statutes with verified section text — including the Constitution, the Criminal Procedure Act, the Labour Relations Act and the Companies Act — Molao shows the wording directly, with a point-in-time flag telling you whether the section is current ("as amended") or repealed.
Unverified references
For a section Molao has not verified, it does not display the text. Instead it links you to the official published version, with a prompt to read the exact, current wording there. Showing statutory wording that might be out of date or slightly wrong would be worse than showing none.
Even for verified sections, confirm the point-in-time position for your facts. Amendments and commencement dates can turn on the exact date in issue.
