What counts as a research search?
An AI research question is one query that returns an AI answer. Browsing judgment results does not use a research question.
Molao separates two things: asking a question and getting an AI answer, and simply searching and browsing judgments.
What uses a research question
Each time you submit a legal question and receive an AI answer, that counts as one AI research question. Browsing the judgment results, opening a judgment, or running a plain search does not count as a research question.
The Free plan allowance
- Three AI research questions every day.
- A separate, larger allowance of basic searches per day.
- The allowance resets at midnight South African time (SAST / CAT). There is no monthly cap and no expiry.
