How to upload documents to a matter
Upload a pleading, affidavit or notice to a matter and Molao extracts the text, classifies it and analyses it automatically.
Documents live inside a matter. Uploading one does more than store it — Molao reads it and pulls out the facts, issues and dates so the matter's intelligence stays current.
Uploading a document
- 1Open the matter and go to the Documents tab.
- 2Give the document a title, for example "Founding Affidavit".
- 3Choose a type — pleading, affidavit, notice or other.
- 4Select the file. Molao accepts PDF, DOCX and TXT.
- 5Select Upload & Analyse.
What happens on upload
Molao extracts the text, classifies the document, and analyses it. The matter's intelligence report rebuilds to take the new document into account. Larger documents take a little longer to analyse; the document list shows the analysis status.
On the Free plan you can hold up to five documents per matter. Higher plans raise or remove this limit.
