Building a Matter Intelligence report
The intelligence report synthesises everything in a matter — documents, authorities, research and evidence — into a single view of facts, issues, authorities, evidence and procedure.
The Matter Intelligence report pulls the whole matter together. Where document analysis reads one file, the report reasons across everything in the matter at once.
Building the report
- 1Open the matter and go to the Intelligence tab.
- 2Select Build Report. Molao synthesises the matter's documents, saved authorities, research history, assessments and evidence.
- 3When it finishes, the report shows summaries of the facts, issues, authorities, evidence and procedure, plus a list of the identified issues.
- 4Rebuild it after you add material, so it reflects the current state of the matter.
Where you will see it used
The report also feeds document drafting: a matter-aware draft uses the matter intelligence, authority intelligence, chronology and evidence to produce something grounded in the file rather than generic.
